题目：CFD SIMULATIONS OF TWO-PHASE FLOWS IN CIRCULATING FLUIDIZED BEDS

Dr. Chao Zhang is a professor and former Director of Professional Programs of the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Western University. She is the fellow of the Canadian Society of Mechanical Engineering (CSME).

She received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of New Brunswick in 1990 and joined University of Windsor as a faculty member in the same year. She took up her present position in 1999.

Dr. Zhang is well known in the area of computational fluid dynamics and has contributed significantly in this field by developing numerical models and algorithms for the simulations of turbulent multiphase and reactive flows. The main field of her research is two-phase flows in condensers, turbulent reactive flows in industrial furnaces and automobile engines, and gas-solid and liquid-solid flows in fluidized beds, and supercritical fluid flow and heat transfer in nuclear reactors. She has published more than 200 technical papers.
